I cannot have enough mirrors when decorating an interior. They work beautifully in so many places – an entry hall, powder bath, dining room – honestly, where do they not work? To me they are functional works of art.

Friends and family visit the neighborly way: by the back door. “The owners designed it so that everyone would come in the back,” says Audrey Curl, the home’s interior designer and owner of San Antonio design firm Ornamentations. “It’s more homey that way.”
